Victoria Jean Hansen (Bycraft), age 68. Born July 17, 1952. Died April 24, 2021. A resident of Harrison Township. She was born in Detroit to Virginia and the late Jack Hansen. She was a long time employee of Ameritech/Michigan Bell.
She leaves behind husband Mark Bycraft and his children Michael, Steven, and David. Her children Christopher (Karen) Zynda, Jessica Pravettone, and Jennifer (Thomas) Lach. Grandchildren Emily, Aiden, Jake, Joshua, Evan, and Nathan. She leaves behind her siblings Jack, Barbara, Robert (Shellie), Pamela (Robert) and Barbara. She will be missed by nieces and nephews Kristen, Eric, Melissa, Andrea, Sarah, Robert, Corrie, Michelle, Jason and Kimberly.
She loved being part of many service clubs foremost the Shriners. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star which included “Annie Oakley Pages and Slave Dancers”. She was a “High Priestess” of the Ladies of the Oriental Shrine of North America. She was a longtime member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, including 10 years as President of #3619 where she was a 16 year member. Victoria belonged 8 years to the Mt. Clements Eagles #1269. She was a member of the Past Madam Presidents Club, a member of the Retired Eagles Activity Club, and the Michigan Eagles Family Recreation Club and she was part of Loyal Order of the Moose: St. Clair Shores #1837. She belonged to The Elks as well.
Visitation for Vicky will be on Wednesday from 4 PM until 8 PM and also on Thursday from 2 PM until 8 PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236.
A funeral service will be on Friday at 11 AM at the funeral home.
A maximum of 25 guests are allowed in the room at one time. Face coverings are required as well.
