Thomas J. Pollack, age 68, passed away on August 10, 2023. Thomas was survived by his sister Sandra Garling, ex-wife Lisa Pollack, nephew Grant (Tammy) Garling, and niece Jennifer Garling. He was the great-uncle to Hunter, Caleb, Rose, and Carter. Tom was predeceased by his nephew Todd Garling and his parents, Leonard J. Pollack and Virginia M. Pollack.
Tom earned a Bachelor’s degree from Aquinas College and a Master’s degree from Central Michigan University. He worked as a finance administrator in the healthcare field until he retired. After retiring, he worked part-time for Alimar Transportation Services.
Visitation for Tom will be on Sunday, August 20, 2023 from 5 PM until 8 PM, rosary at 7 PM, A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236. A funeral Mass will be on Monday, August 21, 2023 at 12 PM, instate at 11:30 AM, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 21620 Greater Mack Ave, St. Clair Shores, MI 48080.
