Ronald J. Bates - On Sunday April 19, 2020, at the age of 72, went home to be with the Lord. Ron is survived by his loving wife, Mary; adored son, John (Dina); "Pops" to his three precious grandchildren, Ella, Grace and Charlie; and grand dogs, Lucy and Chewy. Ron is also survived by his sister Martha, brother Larry, sister-in-law Helen and many nieces and nephews.
Ron loved working on cars, fixing things, driving his wife crazy, complaining to his son that the Internet never worked and bragging about his grand kids who he was very proud of.
Due to social distancing, a graveside memorial for immediate family only, will be held at Resurrection Cemetery on Wednesday April 22 at 1:00 pm. If you wish to pay your respects during the memorial, you may do so from a distance remaining in your vehicle.
