Robert H. Sage

Robert Hugh Sage, age 82, passed away surrounded by family on January 12, 2018. He was born in Pontiac on August 15, 1935; the son of Wesley John and Mary Kathryn "Katie" (nee Matheson) Sage. Robert is an honorable U.S. Army veteran and dedicated Butcher for several years. He worked at Chatham Super Markets for 31 years until they closed and then went on the work at Thorn Apple Valley until his retirement in 1999. Robert enjoyed woodworking and even helped to build the original cottage up in North Lake where he adored relaxing and spending time with family. Loving husband of the late Eileen "Sandy" for 50 years. Loving father of Linda (Ken) Kreis and Lori Sage. Dearest brother of Sue (Gary) Gross. Dear son of the late Wesley and Mary Kathryn "Katie". Roberts family will receive friends on Monday, January 15th from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr at Masonic (13-1/2 Mile) in Warren. A funeral ceremony will be held on Tuesday, January 16th at 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
