Condolences to Mrs. Kane and family. A good man is gone.   Through OLQP, PAC, my parents (Gene and Jean) were friends.

Every time the Butki Family heard it was time for the Kane family to visit Butki Farm Resort great happiness and excitement filled the air. So many of my happiest childhood memories include Mr. Kane. He was such a special person. I always remember how he could make my Dad laugh!!

Condolences. Bob Kane was always smiling and wanted to make you smile. He created so much fun for our families when I was a kid. We did a little bit of everything at our "farm" Particularly his cannonballs at the pool. The Butki's will always treasure knowing and playing with him. He was so giving! He was one unique kind of man Our heart goes to the whole family for this loss.

Mr. Kane was an usher along with my Dad, Frank DeRoo for many years at Queen of Peace. Sending the family many prayers and my sympathy.

My name is Darnell Hood. I attended Bishop Gallagher from 1998 - 2002. I was a Student-Athlete that played football under Coach Sahadi. I was indeed a pleasure to have known Mr. Kane. I met Mr. Kane my first day as a Lancer and every time we would pass each other no matter where it was he would always say, "How are you, Mr. Hood?" and ask how I was doing in my classes and to have a great game during the football season. My condolences and sending prayers to you and yours.

My heart hurts for the whole Kane family. Mr. Kane brings so many fond memories back when I hear his name. He was a fun, kind man, and our family is so happy to have known him. May he rest in peace. X

Condolences to you, Betty and family.  Bob was a great guy. He was a friend to our entire family. My Dad passed in 2011 but suffered for years with Alzheimer’s. Bob would stop after church almost every Sunday to visit with my Dad even after Dad no longer knew who he was until he passed. When Bob was ushering he loved, during the collection, to put the basket in front of you and shake it. No matter how many times he did it, it was always funny to him and us.  Rest In Peace Bob
