Rene Leveille, D.D.S., passed away on March 6, 2012 at St. John Hospital in Detroit. He was born in Detroit on November 8th, 1929; son of Adrien and Alice Leveille. Dr. Leveille practiced dentistry in St. Clair Shores until he retired at the age of 75. He had a flourishing practice due to his great dental skills and wonderful bedside manner. Rene was very artistic. He created hundreds of paintings and played the violin and piano. He was a superior gardener and excellent cook. Dr. Leveille also had a serious side to him. He was an intellectual thinker and could answer almost any question given to him. He was very caring and generous. He loved his pets and leaves behind his two dogs Jones and Rossie. Rene was a loving brother to Helen Leveille, Aline Connor (Richard), and Lorraine Monahan (Daniel). He is survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Dr. Leveille will lie instate on Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of the Mass of the Resurrection at 10:00 am at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 21620 Greater Mack, St. Clair Shores.
