Ralph was my sponsor for 0ver 30 years.I actually just found out of his passing tonight when I found that Kurt was trying to reach me.We shared everything over the years and without his firm structured recovery methods for dealing with life and it's hills and valleys I wouldn't have made it.He was tough with me yet not mean.He made me go through the process of growth in a way that would build my confidence in God rather than myself. Do your best he would say and pray for wisdom.Ask for help and let God handle it. This is a tough one. Kitty,Jane,Earl,Calvin,Pete,Tom. All the memories are rushing in.Now Ralph. My brother ..Thankyou for all the talks,all the love and I hope that when you look down on me that you see a little of yourself.I tried to be like you because I was so proud to have you as MY mentor.Ann, I'm sorry I wasn't around for this.Sharon and I started our marriage in April and traveled all over the country. Ralph would laugh. I finally got on a plane.He and I would talk for hours about our mutual hatred for having to trust some damn pilot with our lives. Lo and behold I did it and loved it. Kim,Kurt, Your Dad loved you more than his tough demeanor could show. We talked since you lived on Hillcrest about how we wanted to be better parents.I just needed to say that there is nothing he wouldn't try to be the greatest father and he would have taken all your pain ,whatever it was ,in a heartbeat.Ann, I can't imagine what your going through.I will be praying for you. He could be a pain in the rear,but he was our pain in the rear. For now,I love you all, may God bless you and comfort you in the days,weeks and months ahead. Love,Rick Wearing

What a GREAT man he was...took me to my first meeting, and taught me everything i needed to know. He was very wise, caring, genuine, and very giving...but i don't really need to tell you these things except to say that's how i knew him. I wish i had taken the time to see him in these last years. I'll ALWAYS remember him fondly, and i'll see him again some day. My uncle Ralph.

Ralph was a great man who was a very influential as l person in my recovery and a good example to those around him of a man of integrity honesty spiritual Giant .

Ralph was always a friend whether we were in touch or not. Our reconnection with these reunion lunches was a blessing. I did not realize Ralph was that sick. Anything I can do to help, please let me know. We will miss him terribly. See you at the funeral home. Paula Fasulo

Ralph as certainly a good person. I know he helped my dad a lot in his later years when he and Ralph's mom lived in their condo near Shook road. Our sincere condolences to his family.

Aunt Ann, Kim, and Kurt I am so sorry for your loss. Uncle Ralph will be missed greatly. I’m sorry we will not be able to make the funeral, but please believe you are all in our hearts and prayers. Love you and miss you xoxo

We are so sorry for your loss. Ralph was such an amazing man. He brought love and laughter wherever he went. Do you remember when we were camping in Michigan and he let Logan drive his car?! Logan will never forget that, he made him feel like a regular kid sitting on an adults lap and driving a car. Ralph was so great with him. We will miss him terribly but will always remember his smile and love of life. We love you and wish we could all be there for you, Shawn will be giving you lots of love and hugs from us.

Kurt, I’m so sorry for your loss. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. I thank him for his service as a police officer for so many years. What a wonderful man he surely was.
