Phyllis Ann Davenport

Phyllis Ann Davenport, age 87, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2023. Cherished wife to the late Robert Davenport. Adored mother to Joe (Laurie) Davenport, Aaron (Tara) Davenport, and Erica (Denis) Metty. Loving grandmother to Joey, Hannah, Lauren, Ethan, Michael, Claire, Abby, Olivia, and Jack.

Phyllis was born to the late George Pratt and the late Loretta Pratt (nee Langlois) in Windsor, Ontario. She later met her husband Bob and together raised a beautiful family. Phyllis was a graduate of Macomb Community College and went on to become a Respiratory Therapist. She worked for over 30 years at Oakland General Hospital and finished her career there as their Clinical Director.

Phyllis enjoyed playing the piano, travel, and was a voracious reader. But what she loved most was being a mother, always taking pride and showing support to her children and grandchildren in all that they did. She will be greatly missed.

Visitation for Phyllis will be on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, from 3 PM until 8 PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236. A funeral Mass will occur on Thursday, September 28th, 2023 at 10 AM, instate at 9:30 AM, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 21620 Greater Mack Ave, St Clair Shores, MI 48080.
