Peter J. Schummer, age 82 died peacefully on April 12, 2016. Beloved husband of Beverly, dear father of Peter (Kathy), Paul (Mary), MaryAnn (Garret Gaw) and the late Mark (Laurie). Grandfather of Paul (Ashley), Sarah, Joseph, Angelina, Noah and Soren. Brother of the late Joanne Hoey (John). Memorial mass 10 am Monday at the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 21620 Greater Mack, St. Clair Shores. The family will receive friends at the Church after 9:30 am. The family has suggested memorial contributions in Peter's name be made to institutes serving the homeless.
