Peter P. Accardo. Korean War veteran. Age 89. Beloved husband of Mary (Votano) for 67 years. Loving father of Jack (Michelle) and the late Teresa. Grandpa of Nicholas, Allison, and Brooke (Mathew) Burtka, and Big Papa of Parker. Brother-in-law of late Louise Messina, Rosemarie (Tony) Ruvolo, and Janet Votano. Loving uncle and great-uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Peter loved spending time with his family, golfing, bowling, and was very active in St Peter the Apostle Parish and school for 60 years as an usher, festival worker and many organizations until it’s closing; Norte Dame and Regina High Schools; American Red Cross volunteer; and Seniors Clubs at St Peter’s and most recently St Basil. Retired from Tankcom and later Edsel and Eleanor Ford Estate.
Peter will lie instate at 9:30 AM until the time of the funeral Mass on Friday October 8th at St. Basil the Great Catholic Church, 22851 Lexington Ave, Eastpointe, MI 48021.
