Patricia Ann Kurtz

Patricia Ann Kurtz, 90, of Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan, passed away peacefully November 2, 2023 surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late Walter “Wally” Kurtz; dear mother of Kurt, Kevin, Kerri Sue (Wade) Dougherty, Keith (Carolyn), Karl (Connie), Kyle (Susanne), Kelly (William) Montagne and Kris (Catherine); loving grandmother to Scott Kurtz (deceased), Andrea (Eric) Nelson, Dana Dougherty (Mike Ngan), Heather Dougherty, Erin (David) Love, Lisa (Evan) Kline, Jeff Kurtz, C.J. Kurtz, Carly (Jake) McCall, Evan Kurtz, Sarah (Ethan) Jacobs, Emma Kurtz, Matthew Kurtz, William Montagne Jr., Elizabeth (Brian) Wenz, Heidi Montagne, Patrick (Carolyn) Kurtz, Colin Kurtz, Abigail Kurtz and Katelyn Kurtz. Also, a cherished great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her two older sisters Phyllis (Ray) Carr and Marilyn (Al) Zednik.

Pat was born on June 24, 1933 in Lakewood, Ohio to the late H. Dayton and Elva Tobey. She met the love of her life, Wally, in high school and they were married for 54 years until his passing in 2008. Pat enjoyed volunteering at Cottage Hospital gift shop, golfing, bowling, watching the Detroit Tigers, playing cards, and doing jigsaw puzzles. Most of all, Pat loved being with her family and close friends. She will be dearly missed.

Visitation for Pat will be on Saturday November 11, 2023 from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM with a funeral service at 4:00 PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236.
