Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts and words. It was a bumpy ride for Dad for the last couple of years. Through all of the prolonged visits to hospitals, I don't think I heard him complain one time. I'll miss him terribly but I know he's in a much better place now. It'll be great though when I see him again, because we won't have the Lions to complain about anymore!! Dad's home now.

To my loving granpa. I will miss you dearly. I will never firget the amazing places we went to. The endurance rides, spending time with each other. I'm trying my best to keep a smile on my face. I want one more hug from you. I want to hear your laugh. I can't believe you're gone. May you rest in peace. I love you.

Myra and all of Nick's family. I am sorry to hear the sad news. I know Nick from endurance rides and saw his love for horses as well as his devotion to Myra and her grand daughter in the past few years while he was crewing for them at the rides. I know he will be missed greatly.

So sorry to hear about Nick. I used to ride with him sometimes, and we, (me and the other ladies riding with him) would always tease him and tell him to ride in front of us so we could watch him from behind. I think we even made him blush! Such a loss of a fun-loving friend!
