Michael G. Schultz passed away on August 5, 2018 at the age of 62. He was born on August 26, 1955 in Detroit. Michael married his loving wife Linda Elliott on August 25, 1979 at Grosse Pointe Woods Presbyterian Church. He began his work career at Chrysler at a young age and retired after 30 years in 2008. Mikes selflessness was evident with his caring of his family. He would visit his father daily at the Shorepointe Nursing Facility in St. Clair Shores. He would always have candy to give to the staff. He would also assist his parents and mother-in-law to make sure all of their cares were tended to. Mr. Schultz was an avid bowler who rolled a perfect game. He always had a joke to tell and would bring a new joke every Tuesday to his bowling league. Mike loved Westerns with John Wayne being his favorite actor. He enjoyed watching all of the local professional sports teams and loved animals. He will be truly missed by everyone that knew him. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Linda. He was proud of his son Karl. He will be missed by his sisters Maureen Tanner (Ken), and Michele Merrifield. Dear nephew of Marie Ammar and Ed Schultz (Alta). He is survived by many loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Gerald and Lorraine Schultz. A memorial gathering will be held on Friday from 2:00 pm until the time of the memorial service at 7:00 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave., at Vernier Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods.
