Suzanne Farris Wilhemina Rzeuska and my grandmother, Mania Rzeuska Trygar were first cousins. My mother Loretta Rzueska Farris was Auntie Rita's second cousin. Auntie Rita emailed me constantly until the last day when we were discussing her attendance at the Pattengil Elementary School in Detroit. My Auntie Alice Rzeuska Kosinski, my father William Farris and my mother, Loretta Farris all attended. we will miss her and know she is with Uncle Mike now. Uncle Mike called me regarding my daughter Renee's illness and gave me advice for her and Beaumont Hospital, about four years ago. Very kind of him and Auntie Rita.

My prayers are with all the Brennans on the passing of such a wonderful man.

Sue and I are extremely sad to receive the news even though it was expected. Dr. Michael Brennan was a great man in the true sense of the word. He gave so much more to the human condition than could ever be expected from one individual in one lifetime. It humbles us all to strive to accomplish what ever we can with the time we have. A truly great family, which he leaves behind, is tribute to the legacy of such a person who lived large in all of our lives. Sue and I loved him dearly.

My family and I send our sincerest condolences to the Brennans.Michael was my hero.In addition to being a friend he treated two of my sisters for cancer and because of him he extended their life.We will always be grateful for his advice and allowing us to know him.We all loved him and are so sorry for your troubles.

I worked ss Dr Brennan's receptionist at Henry Ford Hospital Oncology Depr from 1962-1964. He was my hero!! He cried with and for his patients. Drove all who wanted to join him to Mass at lunch time almost daily. His life ws so hectic and challenging and yet he gave myself and many others the example of always making time for God!! He bragged on his wife and kids,and was so proud of them alays. He had a nickname for everyone, had a laugh that could be heard throughout the halls.and kept everyone smiling with his Irish blarney. My sincere sympathy to your family at the loss of Dr Brennan. He is surely sitting in a special mansion in heaven. He was someone it was an honor and a joy to know. a mentor, a friend, a fellow disciple of Christ, I will never forget this man who so supported me through times good and bad. I am in Los Angeles and cannot personally attest to his life at the services this week much to my dismay but my prayers for the repose of his soul and for God's grace to his family began as soon as the news came. I first heard of Michael on the radio with JP McCarthy, speaking as the president of the Michigan Cancer foundation, never realizing one day I would be a neighbor at his summer home near Gaylord Mi. I came to know his caring and loving persona when it came to helping people concerned with their own health and how comforting his advise to them was. I know that prayers to his family are very well in order and I will always be able to remember the man I called Mike with both reverence and affection.

It was a privilege to have worked with Dr. Brennan at the MSMS Committee on Bioethics. He contributed much with his passionate opinions and thoughtful comments. He was kind, considerate and ever respectful of other people's ideas. It was a pleasure to have him on the committee. He will be missed.

Dear Mrs. Brennan: We send you, your family and all your loved ones our deepest condolences on the death of your husband. It was a great fortune for our committee members to have worked with him. Dr. Brennan was a great colleague and mentor to me and many others at Wayne State University. His kind and wise leadership and frienship benefited his colleagues and community in very special ways. I have been blessed to know him.

Dr. Brennan contributed immensely to the Michigan Cancer Foundation. He was very kind and friendly and I enjoyed my association with Michael. It is hard to say good bye to a friend of thirty years. I will miss him.
