Marilyn Jean Beattie, age 72, of Sterling Heights, died December 31, 2014. She was born March 27, 1942 in Hamtramck to the late John and Helen (Wolski) Golembieski. Marilyn was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family. She married the love of her life, Thomas Beattie, on May 24, 1965 at St. Alvin Episcopal Church. Beloved wife of the late Thomas, who predeceased her in 2005. Dearest mother of Gerald (Colleen), Keith and the late Colleen Beattie. Loving and proud grandmother of Shannon, Liam and Issabella. Dear sister of Carolyn Robbins and the late Joann Nick. Visitation will be Sunday 6:00pm-8:00pm with a funeral service Monday 2:00pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr (at Masonic), Warren. Interment will follow at Clinton Grove Cemetery, Clinton Township. Memorial contributions to Make a Wish Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
