Linda Mary Emma Bergeron, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2024, at home, surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Detroit on September 29, 1938, to Omer and Louise Hoslet.
Linda shared 62 years of love and devotion with her beloved husband, Ronald. After marrying, Linda dedicated her life to her family, pouring her heart into creating a loving and nurturing home for her family.
She is survived by her husband Ronald, children Susan (Joseph) Lucchese, David (Laurie), and Brian (Anna), who were the pride and joy of her life. Linda’s love and guidance shaped the lives of her children, instilling in them importance of love and family.
Linda was also a devoted grandmother to Michael Lucchese, Alexa Lucchese (Christopher Keskitalo), Karina Lucchese, Megan Bergeron (Steven Demers), Eric, Matthew, Brendan, Miranda, Natalie Junkersfeld (Collin), Teagan, and great-grandmother to Hudson and Luciana. Her grandchildren brought immense joy and happiness into her life. She delighted in spending time with them attending all their events, especially sporting events, where she could always be found, cheering them on.
Linda enjoyed traveling with her family, creating cherished memories. She enjoyed bowling with friends and the excitement of casino trips with her brother Eugene.
Linda was a devout Catholic who found strength in her faith. While we mourn the loss of Linda here on earth, we take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace, reunited with loved ones who have gone before her.
A visitation for Linda will be held Monday, March 18, 2024 from 2 PM to 8 PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan 48236. A rosary will occur at 7:00 PM. An instate will occur Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at 11:30 AM at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 21620 Greater Mack Ave, St Clair Shores, until the time of her Funeral Mass at 12pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donation to the Capuchins (cskdetroit.org/online-donations), in honor of Linda’s spirit and love for others.
Though she may be gone from our sight, Linda’s love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace, knowing she was deeply loved and cherished by her family and friends.
