ENGEL, KAREN ANN July 15, 2015 Age 67 Beloved wife of Ronald for 47 years. Dear mother of Debbie (Scott) Gough, Jennifer (Mark) Foster, and Ronald (Kelly) Engel. Loving grandmother of Emily Kae, Jonathan, Joey, Owen, Parker and Austin. Daughter of Shirley Kraft, sister of John (Kyle) Kraft. Predeceased by her father John (Jack) Kraft. Karen was happily married to Ronald for 47 years. Together they enjoyed boating and their cabin on Secord Lake in Gladwin. She liked to sing folk songs and campfire songs. Mrs. Engel loved spending time playing games with her grandchildren. She enjoyed playing cards with friends, visiting neighbors and solving puzzles. While relaxing she was known to have a Harvey's Bristol Cream. The children said they would always know breakfast was ready when the smoke alarm went off. Visitation Monday 4-9 pm at the A. H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Avenue at Vernier Road, Grosse Pointe Woods. Instate Tuesday 10 am until time if service 11 am at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 20338 Mack Avenue, Grosse Pointe Woods. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice.
