My deepest sincere condolences to John’s family during this difficult time. I was one of his employee’s in the early 90’s. I remember the day’s he would come into work and I would be playing my opera music. Some he would like and sometimes he’d yell turn it to something else lol ! The time we went to deliver pizzas together and something hilarious happened and he almost pulled off on me lol ! I’ll miss our major falling out and making amends. Even after he let me go, he still allowed me to come into the restaurant and just be around. Years later while at St John hospital, I was in the waiting room area and John had come in to get something from the vending machine. We made eye contact and he said “hey don’t I know you” ? It was a great reunion going over old times… John was full of personality and humor. I will remember that most about him. 

I just found this out and I am extremely saddened. John and I played on the same line; him on right me on left, We went all the way to National Championships in Indianapolis . What a ride!  The trips to Drummondville Quebec and Toronto  and all over US and Canada . He was a great goal scorer and my friend.

I’m saddened by the news of Johnny’s death. I will always remember your brothers competitive spirit when joining him for a round of golf.

Nicole, I worked with John at E&E a long time ago. What a nice guy. My husband, Matt, was the owner of E&E. He just passed away two weeks ago. We are both experiencing such pain and loss right now; if you would want to talk to support each other, reach out. Sincere condolences to you and your boys.

John was the most caring and loving uncle in the world. He had a spirit that would be impossible to forget. Johns laugh was contagious, and his positive boisterous energy always uplifted everyone around him. I have never met a person who was a better storyteller than my Uncle, once he started talking he captivated the entire room. The love he had for his three kids was unmatched. His eyes lit up every time he was with them, and he took every chance he could to talk about them. Everyone who knew John knew he was very proud of his family. I will be forever grateful to have had John in my life. He has ALWAYS been there for me whenever I needed him, anytime and at any hour. He has given me guidance and advice that I will carry close with me for all of my life. Rest in peace and without pain Uncle John. I love you.

There is a saying that you can work with someone for 20 years and not really know them, but play 18 holes of golf with them and you will learn everything you need to know.  Over the last few years, the more I golfed with John, and spent time with him, the more I learned about him and the more I liked him.  No, I LOVED him!  Everyone did!  He was fair.  He was honest.  He was fun.  He was funny.  He was competitive --- man was he competitive!  He was proud.  He was brave.  He was just GOOD.  

John loved Nikki and his boys so much.  He was such a proud, proud father  --- always talking about his boys with a glimmer in his eye.  John was a "giver" in the truest sense of the word.  He gave his time.  He gave his expertise.  He gave his wisdom --- always teaching his boys about sports, business, life, everything.  
 Most importantly, he gave his love.  He loved his wife.  He loved his sons.  He loved his friends.  He loved the players who he coached.  He didn't really love referees or umpires --- but otherwise he gave his love to everyone he met.

John's passing leaves a void in our community that cannot be replaced.  I am one of so many people whose lives were deeply impacted by him, probably more than he ever realized.  He was such a good friend.  I miss him already and my heart is utterly broken for the loss suffered by the Mueller family.  There are not enough words available to capture the man who was John Mueller.  

Rest peacefully, my friend.  Your smile and your laugh will be with us forever.

As a kid, I always thought John was the coolest. He always looked great and carried himself with confidence. His influence on me still carries true to this day, and I have thought about him more often than I ever imagined I would.
We weren't that close, but I still thought he was the coolest.
I hoped to make plans with him, Mark, and Tim, hoping they would give my wife and I a tour of eastern market, how they remembered it. I thought about calling him, and Mark as recent as last week. I had no idea he was sick. I wish I hadn't hesitated.
