Joan Harmon passed away April 19, 2011 She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Meglic, son-in-law William and grandchildren Anthony Cecilija of St. Thomas, Ontario. Joan was a loving mother and grandmother who possessed a good deal of spunk. She belonged to the Red Hats and the Eastside Tennis Club. She enjoyed playing tennis, cards and enjoyed going to plays and performances. Joan retired in 2006 as a secretary at the U.A.W. after over twenty years of service. She obtained an associates degree. A funeral service will take place 11:00 am Friday April 29, 2011 at White Chapel Cemetery, Long Lake Road at Crooks Road, Troy, Michigan. Memorial contributions may be to the Alzheimers Association, Van Elslander Cancer Society, or the Heart and Stroke Association.
