Daniel graduated from De La Salle Collegiate Catholic High School. He then studied pre-med at Oakland University. Daniel’s love for the water started in his teenage years when he was a U.S. Navy Sea Cadet on the naval ship, the Pride of Michigan. During this time, he learned to be a master and rescue diver. Daniel continued on with his art of diving, working as a diver at local marinas. This love for the sea continued on into Daniel’s adulthood. He was an avid sailor - spending every week in the summertime behind the helm of any type of watercraft.
In recent years, Daniel worked as a watercraft mechanic. Daniel also was very active and always kept busy, whether it was working on cars, boats, or restoring something in his home. In the past, Daniel worked as a medical assistant at an orthopedic clinic and hormone replacement center and at a local hospital as a certified phlebotomist.
Daniel was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Daniel looked forward to family gatherings, took pride in his heritage, had a passion for cooking & baking, always wore a smile and greeted family and friends with a warm hug. Daniel will be greatly missed by so many.
