Christine "Chris" D. Johnson, age 63 of Eastpointe, passed away November 4, 2013. She was born in Detroit on November 17, 1948; the daughter of Raymond and Wilhelmine Johnson. Chris was a loyal Customer Service Representative at Blue Cross Blue Shield for 40+ years. She was also a dedicated volunteer of various senior activities. Chris was a dog lover and had many hobbies including; knitting and crocheting, playing cards, cooking and reading. Dear sister of Thomas (Tina) and the late Caroline Heiser and Philip. Dear sister-in-law of Tom Heiser. Adoring aunt of Sarah, Philip, Rachel, Timothy and David. Loving niece of Eleanor and Walter Burstall. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 7, 2013 from 2:00pm until 9:00pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr at Masonic (13-1/2 Mile), Warren. Instate Friday, November 8, 2013 at 10:30am until time of service 11:00am at St. Thomas Lutheran Church, 23801 Kelly Rd., Eastpointe.
