Carol Ann Laverty

Carol was born in Detroit to the late Henry and Wanda Krause. A devoted music lover, Carol was a long-time member of the General Motors Chorus and parishioner at St. Martin de Porress Catholic Church. She always cherished the memories not only with her family but time spent with the dogs she had throughout her life. Aside from her knack for puzzles and reading, Carol was also a talented gardener who brightened up the neighborhood not only with her warm spirit but her ever-blooming garden. She was a beloved mom, wife, and grandmother who will be dearly missed.

Beloved wife of the late John Laverty for over 50 years. Dear mom of Colleen (Ben) Hirsch and Kevin Laverty. Loving grandma of Jasmine Walker, Jonas Hirsch, Samuel Hirsch, and Phillip Walker. Cherished sister of the late Robert Krause and Kenneth (the late Connie) Krause. Sister-in-law of Jeanne Krause. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation Wednesday, March 3rd from 10am until time of Funeral Service at 1pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home in Warren, 32000 Schoenherr Road. Burial to take place at Resurrection Cemetery.
