Aaron Thomas Binder

Aaron Binder, 45 of GP passed away on March 4, 2023, following a courageous battle of pancreatic cancer with his loving wife, MaryAnn by his side. Born on November 14,1977 Aaron was predeceased by his father, Bruce Binder. He leaves behind 2 stepsons, John and Benjamin, mother, JoAnne, sister Dr. Danielle Ruskin and brother- in-law Dr. Aaron Ruskin, nieces Sasha and Sydney, nephew Harrison, and grandmother Cappy (late William Binder). Uncle Tom Ridas and Aunt Renay Gamble. Loving cousins Nicole (Teddy) Fitzgerald, Kristen (Bret) Evans, Lindsey (Paul) Thomas and William (Kayela) Gamble. Before being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, Aaron opened and managed Teknicolor (now Repcolight) paints in Grosse Pointe. A native Grosse Pointer, Aaron will be remembered for his energetic love for life, cooking and entertaining his family and friends. He loved boating and spending time on the water. His dedication to Teknicolor paints made many of his customers and contractors into dear friends.

Visitation Monday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave., at Vernier Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods. Family and friends will share eulogies at 7:00 pm. Aaron will lie instate on Tuesday from 10:30 am until the time of the Mass at 11:00 am at St Bonaventure Church, 1740 Mt. Elliott, Detroit.
