Gloria Faye Nelms Johnson

Ms. Johnson was born July 21, 1943 in Griffin daughter of the late James & Frances Evans Nelms. She retired from Northside Gastroenterology after 33 years.

Survivors include son, Kelly Johnson of Lynn Haven, FL; daughter & son-in-law, Karen & David Childs of Griffin; grandchildren, Ashley & Keith Pope of Olympia, WA, Adam & Christy Wilkerson of Griffin, Brandon Johnson of Olympia, WA and Crystal Kirven of Maryland; great-grandchild, Chase Wilkerson of Griffin; sister & brother-in-law, Ray & Pat Allen of Stockbridge and lifelong friend, Elaine Donald of Stockbridge. Nieces, nephews and other family also survive.

A memorial service for Ms. Gloria Faye Johnson will be held Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Rev. Wayne Wheeler will officiate. Interment will follow in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Thursday 1 hour prior to the service time.
