Frances Spivey Edwards

Mrs. Edwards was born July 22, 1937 daughter of the late Cecil Matthew Spivey and the late Margery Frances Kinnon Spivey. She was a member of Orchard Hill Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and Bible School. She was a member of the Quilting Club, W.M.U. and was the Church Clerk. Mrs. Edwards was preceded in death by her husband, Perry H. Edwards.

Survivors include daughters & son-in-law, Peggy Raines of Jackson and Laura & Greg Hill of Griffin; son & daughter-in-law, Perry C. & Linda Edwards of Milner; grandchildren, Brian Raines, Tony Raines, Amanda & Josh Edwards, Phillip & Kristin Hill, Kevin Hill, Melanie Wright, Russell & Samantha Clemons; great-grandchildren, Annie Frix, Cloe Clemmons, Aden Clemmons, Layne Cargile and Andrew Miller; sisters & brother-in-law, Sue Lindsey of Unadilla and Helen & Joe Giddens of Pearson and special loved ones, Tammy, Billy, Kaitlin & Will Price.

Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Spivey Edwards will be held Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Rev. Mike Turner and Rev. Nelson Grist will officiate. Interment will follow in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
