Mr. Douglas Edward White

Mr. White was born August 21, 1935 in Anniston, AL to the late Henry Grady White and Allene Post White. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. White was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Catherine White and brother, James White.

Survivors include his wife, Martha S. White of Griffin; sons & daughter-in-law, Allen & Claire White of Milner and Joel White of Griffin; daughter & son-in-law, Mary Lyn & Tim Cagle of Griffin; sister, Sandra Griggers of Manchester; step-son, Tommy Stephens of Knoxville, TN; step-son and his wife, Richard & Tonya Stephens of Alpena, AR; 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Douglas Edward White will be held Thursday, March 4, 2010 at 3:30 p.m. in Westwood Gardens. Rev. Terry Butler will officiate. Friends may visit the family on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour and other times at 242 Chappell Mill Rd., Milner.

Haisten McCullough Funeral Home, 1155 Everee Inn Rd., is in charge of arrangements.
