Mr. Meeks was preceded in death by his parents, Boyd Carl and Jewel Palmer Meeks; brothers, Willie J. and Albert Palmer.
Mr. Meeks was an outdoorsman with a huge love of hunting and was a car and motorcycle enthusiast. He was a wonderful dad and even greater granddad. He was dearly loved and will be truly missed.
Survivors include his sister, Shirley and Frank Brooks; children, Andy and April Meeks and Rhianna and Tim Mills; grandchildren, Drew and Austin Meeks and Emmy, Asa and Julian Mills and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and cousins.
Funeral services for Mr. Boyd Lamar Meeks will be held Sunday, September 13, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Pastor Rob Tinney will officiate. Burial will follow in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Sunday from 12:30 – 2:00 p.m.
