Mr. Billy Eugene Tinsley

Mr. Tinsley was born June 12, 1944 in Chattanooga, TN son of the late J.B. McCain and Edith Pinson Criswell. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and the National Guard. He enjoyed working on cars, was a history buff and enjoyed watching Gunsmoke. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty A. Tinsley and brother, Emory Flournoy.

Survivors include his children, Selma Hurley & Doug Robarge, Charlie Tinsley and Robbie & Michelle Tinsley; 8 grandchildren, Summer Hurley, Tricia Hurley, Robbie & Lindsay Tinsley, Richard & Shanna Tinsley, Ryan Tinsley, Bradley Tinsley, Gavin Tinsley, Yvette Robarge; 3 step-sons, Eric & Lisa Burch, Tim & Jennifer Burch and Ron & Cathy Taylor; 4 step-grandchildren, Nicolas Burch, Sarah Burch, “Little Timmy” Burch and Bobbie Sue Poff; sisters, Linda Bodenbach, LaVance Woodall Hayslip, Mary Ruth Cooper, Pam Brown, Joan Herrick Crow and Tressie Crabtree.

Funeral services for Mr. Billy Eugene Tinsley will be held Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
