Wellington Oloan Manullang

Wellington graduated from Walla Walla College in Washington and then earned his degree as a medical doctor from Loma Linda University in California.

Wellington married Darlene Imai on June 8, 1963 in Los Angeles, California. He was a member of Sunnyside Seventh-day Adventist Church in Portland where he enjoyed teaching Sabbath School Class.

Wellington enjoyed singing in “His Praise” Men’s choir and in the Oregon Adventist Men’s Chorus.

Wellington was a Medical Doctor in Los Angeles, California and in Seattle, Washington. He enjoyed working in his yard and reading.

Wellington is survived by his loving wife Darlene Manullang, Clackamas, OR., son Victor and his wife Jennifer Manullang, Clackamas, OR., daughter Sonya and her husband Chris Nienhuis, Singapore, son Ted and his wife Jocelyn Manullang, Newcastle, WA., and son Daryl and his wife Sally Rehling, Portland, OR., and his eight grandchildren; Julianne, Jacob, Alec, Katie, Abby, Jack, Presley and Adeline.

A memorial service will be on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Sunnyside Seventh-day Adventist Church located at 10501 SE Market St. in Portland, Oregon.
