Shirley Kelly

Shirley Louise Kelly, 92, of Gresham, passed away peacefully at Good Samaritan Fairlawn Village. Shirley was born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire to Harold & Addie (Linnekin) Hutchins and she was raised with three siblings. Shirley was known as a tom-boy growing up; she would help her dad quite frequently on the light house. Growing up her dad would call her “Billie”. Shirley met the love of her life, Llewellyn, in high school. Together they raised six children. Shirley was a house wife – she was described as a good mother and was the disciplinarian in the family. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and reading. She was also described as easy going and looked forward to her playing bingo and connecting with her fellow residents at Fairlawn Village in Gresham. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; Harold and Addie; husband, Llewellyn and son, George. She is survived by her children William, James, Christine, Thomas, and Carol; 17 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. A memorial gathering will be held at the family home at a later date.
