Rosalie Trembath was born on June 19, 1939 in Longview, Washington. She passed away after a long illness on July 24, 2013 in Gresham.
Rosalie spent her formative years in Umatilla, Oregon. She married her high school sweetheart, John, in Hermiston, Oregon on October 17, 1959.
They settled in Gresham where they raised their family. Rosalie worked as an aide for the Gresham-Barlow School District, retiring in 2001. After her retirement, she began volunteering at the Gresham Senior Center, where she continued her hobbies of sewing and quilting.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, John; daughters Jennifer Thies, Julie Stiers, Sheila Burnum, and Jonelle Dean. Grandchildren: Emily, Sammy, James, Monica, William, Will, Nathan and Matthew; Great-grandchildren: Hope, Ella, and Christopher; sisters Betty Kline, Jeannie Bloodsworth, and Joyce Follis; and brother Ron Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Mabel Williams; and brother Darrel Williams.
Private family interment will be held at Willamette National Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at Bateman Carroll funeral home on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 12:00 PM.
