Bob died May 27, 2011 at his home in Portland at the age of 61 years. A Celebration of his life will be held at Puff’s Pub, 22200 SE Stark in Gresham, Sunday, June 12, 2011 at 1:00 pm.
Bob was born December 17, 1949 in Portland, Oregon the son of Robert J. and Mildred (Miller) Bell. He attended Central Catholic High School and graduated from Gresham High School in 1967.
Cars were his life. In the late 1970’s he opened his own body shop in Boring called Bob Bell’s Body and Paint Shop. The shop closed in 1991 and he moved to Arizona; returning to Gresham in 2009. He also loved to build antique cars. Bob was also an artist and great calligrapher.
He is survived by his father, Robert J. Bell Sr. of Troutdale; son, Scott Pellecer; brothers, J. Michael Bell of Beaverton, Kenneth Bell of Tucson, Arizona; sister, Sharon Burns of Troutdale and two grandchildren.
