Patricia Diane Vinson

Patricia Diane Parks was born on January 9, 1950, in Tulare, California, to Dean and Ida Mae Parks. Later she married Dale Vinson and they raised three sons, Dean, Steven, and Kevin. She was a loyal Army wife who chose to stay home and raise her three boys. She later worked for the Portland Veterans Hospital. Those who were close to her called her Pat.

Pat loved to paint. She painted beautiful sceneries on canvas. She also loved to hand paint ceramics. Pat would teach anyone who was willing to learn how to paint. Pat was also known for her infectious smile and laughter. She loved vacation especially if there were margaritas involved and always had her bag packed in advance. Most importantly, she loved her family. She would drop everything to be available for them.

Patricia is survived by her three sons, Dean, Steven, and Kevin; 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers and a sister, Thomas, Edward, and Nancy; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home at 12:30pm. There will be a graveside service following at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
