Nancy Gail Vinson, age 70, of Mesa, Arizona passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.
Hello, my name is Nancy Vinson and here is the short story of my life.
I was born July 15th 1953, I have 8 brothers and sisters most of whom I am with now in heaven, including my mother and my father. I have 5 children 6 if you include Tanner which we usually do. Those children are Chad Vinson, Tori Vinson, Clint Vinson, Jennifer Vinson and Shannon Crawford. I loved my children whole much, they are my everything. I also have my grandchildren, so many to list but please make no mistake, I love them just as much. My time on earth was short, at least my children think so, 70 years…trust me even up here I feel their love and I know they miss me. During my time on earth, I put myself through school, and worked for PCC. I loved playing Bingo, fishing, camping and spending time with my family. I loved watching my children grow, master each hurdle and overcome some shaky times but Lord…look at them now. I’m so proud.
I had a stroke in 2016, and I know they thought they lost me then, but God gave me 7 more years, just to watch and make sure my family would be ok when my time did come, he even gave me time to get it right with Him. I lived with my son and daughter (in law, but she is so much more than that to me) Clint and Jen from 2018 until my passing. I went to church with my favorite Pastor and his wife. Pastor and sister Luckenbaugh. Please know you are loved as well. I received the holy ghost and started living my life for God right up until my last breath. I fought the good fight with the cancer, but God called me home 9/12/23 at 5:56am. It’s wonderful here in heaven, I am whole again with no pain. I am not alone; I am surrounded by my family and God.
So, Ciao Bella for now my loves, this too shall pass. Don’t cry for me, I am watching over you still, now I just have a higher and better view. I love you all, to the moon and back.
Nancy was born in Phoenix, Arizona on July 15, 1953. She lived alternately between the Phoenix Valley and Portland, Oregon areas until settling permanently in Mesa, Arizona in 2016.
Nancy always enjoyed the outdoors - camping and fishing, and especially spending time with her grandchildren. Her legacy began with her parents, Dean and Ida Mae Parks, who gave their life to the Lord when Nancy was in her thirties. As this legacy extended to her children and grandchildren, Nancy slowly but surely came to love and cherish her relationship with Jesus. She received the Holy Ghost and was baptized in Jesus’ name in 2017.
Nancy passed from this life on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 in Mesa, Arizona. She is survived by her sons, Chad and Clint Vinson, her daughter, Shannon Crawford, brothers Tom and Ed Parks, and many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
