A funeral service for Marlene will be held Tues, December 5th, 2023 10:30 am at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home, 520 W. Powell Blvd, Gresham, Oregon. A committal service will occur Friday, December 8, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Douglass Cemetery, SW Hensley Rd & SW 15th Street, Troutdale, Oregon.

Marlene Mary Parker passed on November 27, 2023 in Milwaukie, Oregon at the age of 94.

Marlene was born Marlene Mary Underhill in Ithaca, Wisconsin on June 23, 1929. Growing up in Wisconsin, she shared her life with seven brothers: Freddie, Jack, Wayne, Jim, Rocky, Gale, and Kenneth. She later met another man who was born and raised in Wisconsin by the name of Arnold Leon Parker, who she inevitably married and together they created a family of their own.

Marlene is survived by her youngest brother, Kenneth; her four children, Gary (Liz) Parker, Larry (Lynnette) Parker, Camellia (Dan) Vistica, and Misty Akers; seven grandchildren, , Michael Driskell, Brandy Parker, Cynthia Katherine Parker, Stephen Parker, Courtny Russell, Danielle Fisher and Devin Clem ; and 15 great-grandchildren, Lily, Sophia, Jack, Ainsley, Kenzie, Leighton, Tate, Destiny, Dezaray, Otto, Frankie, Racheal, Aaron, Alexis, Sarah.

Marlene Mary Parker's life was adorned by the love of her family, leaving a lasting legacy that echoes through generations. She will be dearly missed and remembered for her love, warmth, and unwavering kindness.
