I am so very sorry about Mark.  He was a very friendly and hard working person  for the MHCC Foundation and will be immensely missed.

Mark had such an incredibly big heart! He was a huge supporter of L'Arche Portland, both as a generous donor and with his time and energy.  He made lasting friendships with many of the members of our community, including staff and core members with disabilities. I'm so grateful to have known Mark and experienced his kindness. I will miss him.

From our early meeting in middle school,  our friendship in high school, onward to college at OSU.  And it does not end.  As young graduates Mark and his new wife Kathy move to Bend to start their career . I do the same.  Mark and Kathy were instrumental in welcoming me to Bend and helping me transition to a new independent  life on my own away from Portland and my comfort zone.   Even though our lives and careers took different paths and directions I will always hold Mark close to my heart as a  true friend and a positive influence in my life.  Thank you my friend.   My love and sympathy goes out to all you touched.

When I think about Mark I start to smile. His laughter always brought so much joy to those around him.  

Just recently we were able to reconnect. It was great being with him since it had been over 50 years since we worked together walking dogs at the MKC.  

I will always remember him as a loving husband and father who cherished his family. I’m going to miss my incredible friend.

Have known Mark and the Kralj family for over fifty years. He was later my financial advisor until he retired but more than that an incredible friend.  A fine, fine man! Mark organized a wonderful private dinner at the High Dessert Museum for our Miller family reunion in August 2024.

We had a great time with Mark and a bunch of other Miller family members at our house in Texas for the April 8, 2024 eclipse. Here he is with my husband Dave.

One in a million!  You had a taste for life like no other!  RIP! My deepest condolences to the Kralj family!

Mark was one of my third cousins.  I was only around him a few times in the 80s, but my memory of Mark is firmly in my memory as a fun loving person who loved his wife and family.  
It is so sad to realize he is not with us anymore.  
I read his bio from his life's work.  I had no idea what an accomplished man he was with such a generous spirit.  
May he rest in peace.

Mark and I shared many bike rides over the last 30 years. We first met on an MS ride at a rest stop and while I was climbing a hill Mark came alongside chatting it up and I promptly shot him down saying I don’t talk to anyone on the hills. That became a frequent tease on future rides. I am so saddened by the loss and send my heartfelt condolences to Kathy and family.
