MacKenzie D. Teuscher (Brown), 32, of Redmond, passed away on May 12, 2016. MacKenzie was born in Lewiston, Idaho on May 06, 1984 to Ed Brown and Diana Brown-Pierce. She graduated from Parkrose High School and received training at Clark Vocational Center to be a Certified Nursing Assistant. MacKenzie had a career in the medical field as a clinical scheduler at Bend Memorial Clinic and served several years in the ICU at St. Charles Medical Center in Bend, Oregon. Loving, caring, selfless and born to be a caregiver were just a few of the many words used to describe MacKenzie. She was also a passionate Seattle Seahawks fan, avid reader, and she enjoyed activities outdoors. Especially, the annual camping trips to Cultus Lake. She was known to out fish just about anyone. MacKenzie is survived by her husband, Reed Teuscher; step children, Liz, Emily & Haley; mother, Diana; father and step mother, Ed and Mary; siblings, Anthony (Karen), Tami (Jay), Tory (Jon); Bobbi (Chris), Aaron; and many close friends and her dog of nine years, Emma. She is preceded in death by her beloved horse of 30 years Czortel. A celebration of life gathering will be held on Saturday, May 21st at 1pm at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home in Gresham, OR. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Charles Medical Center ICU unit, Bend, OR.
