Judith Rae Heckel passed away on May 31 2024, from a heart attack.
She was born on April 25, 1949, in Portland, Oregon to Cecil Jordan and Colleen Pearl (Taylor) Thompson. Judy graduated from Reynolds High School in 1967. She had many hobbies/interests during her 75 years including, cooking, gardening, crocheting, jewelry making, painting, decorating. Judy was never afraid to take on any challenge. She sold real estate, earned certification to do nails, owned her own secretarial business & worked several years as a bookkeeper for a large construction company where she met her husband, Ron. As a couple they owned Pacific Campground an RV Park in Tillamook, Oregon. She loved make-up products, fashion, jewelry, and always looked so beautiful.
She is survived by her brother Cecil Thompson, children Rick DeRosa, Christine Soto, and Donny Ensley as well as three grandsons, Andrew Fleming, Antonio Ferriera and Dylan Turpin. Her husband Ron Heckel, passed away on September 6, 2020.
She will be forever missed.
