Johnnie Patten, age 81 of Gresham, Oregon passed away Saturday night, Sep. 22, 2018. Born in Spencer, Iowa, he was an Air Force veteran and contractor. Known for his charm and storytelling, he never met a stranger. Raised in the Mid-West, he moved to Oregon when he was 30 and lived the rest of his life in the Portland area. Johnnie enjoyed singing and dancing and even winning the occasional Willie Nelson look-alike contest.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Harry Patten Sr. and Ethel Moore; a twin brother at birth; his twin sons James and Joe; his daughter Tina; and his siblings Elizabeth, Hank, and Harry Jr. He leaves behind his former wife Sharon Patten and sons Rick, Ed, Jeff, Scott and daughter Lori. He is also survived by his siblings Elsie Smith, June Goodson, Norma Bichard, Shirley Jordan, and Mike Moore. Grandchildren Erika, Michael, Samantha and Brandon, and great grandchild Isabella.
