John was born November 13, 1991, in Portland, Oregon, to his parents Robert and Martha Denham. He attended North Plains elementary school and Portland Lutheran High School where and he was involved with the Student Leadership program. He had also obtained a PhD in Living.
John was involved with Christ Church in Hillsboro and Rolling Hills Community church in Tualatin. He was a community activist, public speaker, fireman and a superhero to cats. He was also an advocate for the use of marijuana in pain management.
John enjoyed the finer things in life; partaking in High Tea at Butchart Gardens in Victoria, fine dining at good restaurants, attending concerts, sitting in his garden and reflecting on life. He was a true connoisseur with an insatiable appetite for life.
John will also be remembered for his love of cooking, science fiction literature, gaming, and as a youngster, bestowing Valentine’s Card’s on pretty girls when they would come to visit. John had planned to attend College to obtain his Bachelors in Video Gaming. John had hoped to one day create a gaming control system that could be operated by those without hands. He also aspired to create video games that were educational and served a purpose. John will always be remembered for his heart of gold, his compassion and for his strength and resilience.
John is survived by “his village” of family, care givers and friends. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
