Jimmy was born on December 26, 1949 in Big Cabin, Oklahoma and was the son of Henry and Letha (Benson) Byrd. He married Deborah Buoy and was a car dealer for many years.
Family members include: Wife, Deborah, Children: Tammy, Buddy, April and Angela, son-in-laws: Todd, Jwaun, Grandchildren: Taylor, Gage, Ryan, Kasey, Sophia, Zoey, Angelica, Zack, Rhylee, Hayden, Alexis, Adrain, Ashley, Erica, Jaeden, Makya, Amarianna and Jayoanna, Great Grandchild: Authum, brothers: Ronnie, Curtis, Pete, Doyal, Ricky and James and sisters: Nettie Marie, Cairlen and Diane.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home. Visitation will take place on Thursday at 10:00 am also at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home. Bateman Carroll is handling the arrangements.
