Jeff Dennis Simmons

Jeff Dennis Simmons, 46 passed unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 30, 2014. He was born May 17, 1968 in Portland Oregon and was raised in Gresham Oregon. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 20 years, Dayna, twin sons, Hunter and Walker, parents, Russell and Delores, brother, Joe, and grandmother Dorothy. He loved sports, in high school he enjoyed playing football, baseball and wrestling and cherished his time with his teammates. He was a hardworking and dedicated meat cutter for over 25 years with Fred Meyer. When Jeff was not spending time with his family you could find him at the local golf course, playing pool, darts, bingo or poker with his friends. He also enjoyed watching the NY Giants and Atlanta Braves. Jeff lived a life full of laughter, energy and positive attitude that will remain in the hearts and memories of countless family members, friends and colleagues. The memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014, 12 PM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 39901 Pleasant Street, Sandy, OR 97055.
