We all had our different experiences with Jan, some of us took care of her, some cleaned her and her husband's room, some just took packages and meals and chatted for a little bit. But even though we all had those different experiences, everyone had their own special connection. Jan was a beautiful, kind hearted women that was definitely stubborn and loved to focus on her friends and family before herself. I loved walking in everyday to see her beautiful face light up when she saw her care staff that she knew and loved.

I had the privilege of caring for Jeanette where I work. She was a beautiful person inside and out. I loved giving her hugs and will miss her warm spirit. She made my day better when she came in. 

I’ve been so blessed to have had 57 years of unconditional, warm & caring LOVE from my wonderful MOM -  From the younger years of stories at bedtime, birthday parties & always a yummy meal -  To the later years of travel, cooking together in Arizona & fun lunches in Mexico!  We together always made people smile & laugh “with us “ or maybe AT us ! No matter , we laughed-)    I’ll cherish every memory  forever ,,, I love you Mom

"Gram, I will never forget the smell of biscuits and gravy in the morning at Pine Hallow, the way you felt and smelled when I gave you a hug and how envious I am of the fact that I didn't inherit your flawless nails. I miss you so much already it hurts. I am so grateful you got to meet and love on my babies. You always had a great grandkid in your lap feeding them cake. We pray for you every night and I will continue to tell my kids stories of you. Give Grandma Muffin, Aunt Cindy and Jessica a BIG ole' hug from me. I hope you're chatting away with them up in heaven. Until I hear your voice again, I love you."

"I love you. I miss you. I dream about you every night. I hope you have a good time in heaven. I'm going to miss reading books with you.  I hope you have a good time with Jesus and God. You're always in my heart"


To Say it's been a Gift knowing and having Jan in my life reflects just a small treasure - as it were.
Blessed by the love and comfort she so readily gave will forever hold a Special place in my heart.
