Janelle Yvonne Valot

Janelle Y. Valot, 75, of Sandy, OR, passed away on March 26, 2016. She was born in San Jose, California on March 07, 1941 to Byron & Madeline (Wimber) Anderson. Janelle graduated from Redondo Union High School. Janelle met the love of her life, Anthony Valot, shortly after graduating from high school. They got married on April 23, 1960 and together they raised three children. Both Janelle and Tony enjoyed traveling and lived in California, Oregon, Nevada and Hawaii. Sewing, crocheting, working on arts and crafts, and spending time with family are just a few of the many things she enjoyed. Janelle also loved being in the sunshine and spending time sailing with her husband. Janelle will be remembered for her unwavering faith and the love she had for her family especially her grandchildren. A memorial gathering will be held a Gresham Baptist Church in Gresham on Saturday, April 2nd at 1pm.
