Jane Margaret Holm

She was born on New Years Day 1934 in Ashland Wisconsin to 2 Finnish Immigrants, Matt and Freda Erickson.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents and 4 siblings, Matt, Evelyn, Roy, and William.

Jane was the class treasurer her Senior year at Melen High School, soon after graduation she took a job at a Bank In Superior. It was in Superior that she met the love of her life, Larry.

After their marriage they moved to sunny Long Beach, California. It was there that their 2 children, Gary and Sharon (Johnson) were born.

In 1961 the family moved to Portland, Oregon where she began as a court reporter using shorthand to record the proceedings then converting it to type before returning it for the records. After that she began a career at Bonneville Power Administration as an Executive secretary where she worked for 25 years until her retirement.

She was so proud of her 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

She loved to cook for the family and was a walking encyclopedia on everything health and herbal remedies.

A celebration of life for Jane will be held Monday, April 10, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home, 520 W. Powell Blvd, Gresham, Oregon.
