Jaqueline Lee Spuhler (Jackie)
Born September 27, 1935 to Kenneth and Constance (Jones) Donahue in Portland, Oregon and passed away on October 22, 2022 in Happy Valley, Oregon at the age of 87.
Jackie was the eldest of two children, her brother Richard was 10 years younger. Her father passed away when she was a young girl. Jackie attended Gresham High School where she met Ronald John Spuhler and a short time after graduation they married.
She lived in the Gresham area most of her life. She loved flowers and plants and started a nursery business called Budding Nursery and sold grafted Lace Leaf Maples. She loved to go to Garage Sales and bought lots of antiques. Jackie and Ron loved to go camping and went in their motorhome with their beloved dog Neeka. They had a swimming pool installed at their home and loved to spend time with kids and grandkids. She loved watching Blazers Basketball and football games. She was an amateur photographer.
She is survived by her children, Julie Nelson and Steve Spuhler. She has 4 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Jackie's husband, Ron Spuhler, preceded her in death. Her beloved brother Richard passed away a day after Jackie on October 23rd.
Service to be held at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home in Gresham, Oregon on November 1, 2022 at 11:00am followed by interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Gresham.
