Jacqueline Anna Krahn, 86, passed away on June 13, 2018 in Clackamas, Oregon. She was born in Rock Island, Illinois to Charles William Anderson and Garnet Mary (Maring) Anderson. One of twelve children, she spent her childhood and teenage years in Rock Island, where she attended Franklin High School.
Jacqueline was a homemaker and wondferful mother to her five children: Robert, Richard, Randy, Robin and Roger. She had a heart of gold, and her family meant everything to her. She was also a loving grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother, and will be dearly missed. She also had a heart for the homeless in her community, and for animals. She volunteered at the Hollywood Community Center, and she would feed the homeless during her lunch break. She was a protector, a nurturer, and she always rooted for the underdog. Although she was sweet, kind and loving, she had a sassy streak. She had no problem telling it how it was, and she was a very strong woman.
In her younger years, Jacqueline enjoyed being a daredevil. She loved riding motorcycles, and the last ride she took was a couple of years ago when Roger bought a new bike. She had a blast, and it brought back some fond memories for her. In addition to motorcycles, she loved animals and spending time with her family.
Jacqueline was preceded in death by her parents, and ten of her siblings. She is survived by her children, Robert, Richard, Randy, Robin and Roger; 22 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, and 1 younger brother, Harry.
