Florence passed away peacefully with her family at her side. She had three children: son, James, and daughters, Sandra Benson and Sharon Berkey; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grand- children. A family graveside service will be held in Willamette National Cemetery, where she will be put to rest with her beloved husband, James E. Smith.
