David James McQuaide, 66 of Fairview OR, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2014. He was born on May 27, 1948 in Woodbury, New Jersey to John and Doris McQuaide. He worked as a Master Planner Scheduler for his entire career. David was not defined by what he did but by who he was – He was a Renaissance Man – A Master of all trades. He married Dee Randolph on May 13, 2002 in Escondido, California. He was an avid Charger’s Fan, enjoyed living on the lake and connecting with nature. His latest endeavor was clock building.
David is survived by his wife Dee Randolph of Fairview OR; son Brandon McQuaide of San Diego CA; daughters Shelly Marino of Temecula CA and Julie Johnson (David) of San Diego CA; sister Doris Ann Wascher of San Diego CA; brothers John McQuaide (Suzanne) of San Diego CA and Alan McQuaide (Betts) of Alpine CA; grandsons Robert Kenny, Charles Marino, Gary Kenny, Aaron Marino and Elliott Marino and great grandson Odin Marino. He was also survived by special friends, the Stamanov Family of Vancouver WA.
At his request, Services were held in San Diego, California. Contributions may be made as donations to the American Friends Service Committee at www.afsc.org. Arrangements entrusted to Bateman Carroll Funeral Home in Gresham, Oregon.
