Curtis B. Stephens

Curtis attended Harding College in Tennessee and Portland State University. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force.

Curtis married Nancy Farmer on June 4, 1956 in Portland, Oregon. He attended the Church of Christ in East Portland. Curtis was a member of the American Legion in Portland and the VFW in Milwaukie, Oregon.

Curtis enjoyed photography and collecting artwork.

Curtis is survived by his loving wife Nancy Stephens, Portland, OR, daughter, Claudia Stephens, Portland, OR., two sons, Barry Stephens, Portland, OR., and Bruce Stephens, of Molalla, OR., brother, H.B. Stephens, El Paso, Texas, three sisters, Norma Doyle, Happy Valley, OR., Wilma George, Oklahoma City, OK., and Letha Hubbard, Memphis, Tennessee, plus many grandchildren and his four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Byron Stephens.

Donations may be given to Kaiser Hospice.

Funeral service will be on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home located at 520 W. Powell Blvd. in Gresham, Oregon. Private burial will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.
